We’re delighted to have received stock of the very popular laser cut butterfly glass place cards previously only available in white in four new colours: ivory, black, gold and silver with baby pink to follow early 2012.  We think the black will look particually stunning with guests names in white ink.

We’ve seen a large increase in couples wanting to add their own stamp to their wedding day from couples who set out to make everything to those that decide to choose one part such as the invitations, table centerpieces or the table plan.  We’ve recently had a bride who has spent 6 months solidly on an evening making everything from her invitations to the cake and flower arrangements.

The amazing result of this trend is the diversity of wedding ideas and themes with lots of adaptions on inspiration from the likes of Martha Stewart, the large number of craft magazines available on the market and lots of amazing wedding and craft blogs.

There will always be lots of couples who either don’t have an interest or flair in creating their own or simply as much as they’d like to don’t have the time and this has led to an increase in semi DIY products and DIY look products now being produced, some examples we’ve introduced recently include:

• Luggage tags which can be added to favours, tied round napkins / wine glasses, used as escort cards etc….in your own way and style for example use raffia / string / ribbon to tie them with, stamp guests names onto them…the possibilities from such a simple concept are endless

• DIY Favour Boxes – flat pack with no glue required and simple to construct these vintage print favour boxes come in six pretty colours and can be left plain, embellished with ribbon and a tag and filled with something you choose from retro sweets to charity pin badges.

• Chalk boards and Just Married flags are used here in a simple old milk bottle with a couple of low-cost flowers arranged by ourselves and combines the table number and centrepiece
